Soraya Gonzalez is from Colombia, South America. She came to the United States in 1999 and has been in Colorado since 2001. She currently serves as an Auditor for the Metropolitan Tribunal.
Under the direction of one of the Judges (the Ponens), the Auditor assists the Court in conducting marriage nullity investigations and monitoring their progress, especially in regard to depositions at the Tribunal and obtaining the testimony of court-appointed psychological experts. In addition, the Auditor facilitates communication between the Court and the parties (together with their Advocates). At times, the Auditor also serves as a Notary and, thus, is responsible for drafting and authenticating the required documentation in the course of marriage nullity investigations.
