Archbishop Aquila’s homily from the installation Mass of Fr. Jason Wunsch, pastor of St. Gianna Molla (September 16, 2018). The homily focuses on the importance of not following the voice of the Evil One, but rather that of Jesus. All of us must answer the important question of who Jesus is in our lives. More specifically, Fr. Jason as the pastor of the community has the important task of leading others to answer this specific question as well. As a new parish, they are together grow in their relationship with the Lord, trusting that He will take care of everything.

Annual Anniversary Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary – September 9, 2018

Archbishop Aquila’s homily from his annual Anniversaries Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Northglenn. There were around 150 couples who renewed their wedding vows. Two couples celebrated 70 years of marriage; one couple celebrated 75 years! The readings were from the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time and Archbishop’s homily focused on the importance of being a living witness to Christ in the married life in a world which wants to tear apart what God has joined.

St. Mary’s Parish Church Re-dedication (Aspen, CO)

Archbishop Aquila’s homily from St. Mary’s Parish in Aspen. The church was re-dedicated on this day after a long renovation project. The Mass is taken from the Common of Dedication of a Church, and the homily focuses on our relationship to God the Father as the center of our lives and the center of our worship.

Our Lady of the Valley in Winsor

Archbishop Aquila’s homily at Our Lady of the Valley in Windsor. Archbishop talks about the importance of the Eucharist in the life of the community and in the life of the family. During the Mass, he blessed the new Adoration Chapel; after Mass, he dedicated the new parish hall.

St. Joseph Parish (Akron, CO) 100th Anniversary

Archbishop Aquila’s homily for the 100th Anniversary of St. Joseph Parish (Akron, CO) on the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time (August 19, 2018). The homily gives thanks to God for the past 100 years of life and ministry at the parish, and based on the Mass readings, focuses on the importance of having a relationship with the Father in order to grow as a person, as a family, and as a community.

Queen of Peace Parish 50th Anniversary

Archbishop Aquila’s homily for the 50th anniversary of Queen of Peace (August 12, 2018). The homily focuses on the diversity of the parish in the past 50 years and how we as a community need to be centered around Jesus in the Eucharist.

Archbishop speaks of the importance of having am personal relationship with Jesus Christ whom we meet in the Scriptures, and how we are called to grow in a love for the Most Holy Eucharist, which is foretold of in today’s Gospel (John 6:1-15).
