Registration for the 2019 Focus 11 Vocations Awareness Days is now OPEN!!!
Thank you for your interest in this event! Our Focus 11 Vocations Awareness Days event has always been very fulfilling for the students who attend, and that is entirely due to the generous support and witness of men and women religious volunteers. Below is the registration form. Please fill this out completely, one form for each different community, and if possible include the estimated number of attendees from your group (this will help with meal planning).
Please note: each individual volunteer for the Focus 11 event must be at least 18 years of age AND must have completed Safe Environment Training through a participating parish or training administrator in the Archdiocese of Denver. All volunteers must have at least completed the initial Safe Environment training module, Called to Protect, within 5 years of the Focus 11 event (no earlier than 2014). If you’d like to volunteer for Focus 11 but have NOT completed the initial SET module, check out the Office of Child and Youth Protection’s page for a list of classes offered in parishes around the Archdiocese so you can fulfill this very important requirement – all training sessions are FREE!
If you completed the initial training more than five years ago (prior to 2014), you will need to take the online refresher course called Keeping Your Church Safe. Please contact the OCYP Coordinator, Mrs. Christi Sullivan, at email@example.com for instructions about how to update your SET training.
For religious who are based outside Colorado but temporarily assigned somewhere within the AOD, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to verify that you have completed an equivalent training program as recognized by the Office of Child and Youth Protection. The Vocations Office must have a completion certificate on file for all volunteers before Focus 11 takes place.
Make sure to include your primary email address in the registration form, so the Vocations Office can send updates and notices about the event as October gets closer. Thank you again for your commitment to help with this event, for your witness of your vocation, and for your continued prayerful support of vocations in the Archdiocese of Denver.
