He was just 6 years old.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila will ordain Deacon Hall and five others into the priesthood.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Denver Catholic<\/em> spent time with Deacon Hall at St. Vincent de Paul several months before his ordination. The walk down memory lane &#8211; and the school hallway &#8211; led him to reflect on the pivotal role his Catholic education played in shaping his vocation.<\/p>\n<p>As Deacon Hall looks back, he can&#8217;t help but be filled with deep gratitude for his parents and their sacrifice. \u201cThe sacrifice itself is an outward sign in which I know the love they have for me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>And quite a sacrifice it was.
