2026 Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal

Everything we have is a gift.

See what your gift makes possible.

Across Northern Colorado, your generosity is helping real people find community, encounter Christ, grow in faith and build a stronger future. Take a look at some of their stories.

Your gift is…

Giving Kara more than parenting tools. It’s giving her a community.

When Kara Collidge walked into a six-week parenting class at Samaritan House, she expected to learn new ways to parent her teenage son.

What she didn’t expect was to find a community. The mothers began sharing meals, checking on one another and supporting each other through the challenges of raising children while experiencing homelessness.

“It gave us tools, but it also gave us each other.”
— Kara Collidge, Samaritan House

Your gift helps families experience healing, belonging and community.

Your gift is…

Helping a young person discover he is never alone.

For one camper at Annunciation Heights, Eucharistic Adoration became the moment he realized something he would carry home long after camp ended.

“I’ll remember that I am never really alone and that God is always with me.”
— Annunciation Heights camper

For another family, the biggest surprise wasn’t how much fun their son had outdoors. It was the spiritual growth they saw when he came home.

Your gift is…

Helping Dee find her way home.

Dee Walker first encountered Jesus as a child in Vietnam. Years later, during one of the most difficult seasons of her life, she turned to him again.

Her search brought her to Holy Name Parish in Steamboat Springs, where she entered OCIA and was baptized into the Catholic Church. Today, Dee describes a deeper peace and a desire to share what she has found.

Your gift is…

Making room for the next generation.

For the children at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School, construction means more than a new building.

Room to learn.
Room to pray.
Room to build friendships.
Room for another family to join a Catholic school community.

Seven classrooms, a chapel, a courtyard, a counselor’s office and an updated nurse’s station, with room for smaller classes and new families was built this year.
