Andrew Schaefer joined the Archdiocese of Denver in August 2020 as the Director of Mission Advancement.
Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and has a master’s degree in public administration from Middlebury College. After graduating from St Joe’s, he directed service-learning trips for Catholic Schools in Mexico. Following his master’s program Andrew worked for Catholic Relief Services for more than 10 years, most recently serving as Country Representatives in Sierra Leone and Pakistan. Andrew has a passion of service and strives to uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life and foster charity and justice.
Andrew is currently a parishioner at St. Catherine of Sienna. He is married to his wife Kristina of six years and has two young boys. Andrew is looking forward to building relationships and supporting the ministries of the Archdiocese of Denver.
