As of June 2020 the Archdiocese uses VIRTUS® – Teaching Safety: Empowering God’s Children as the only Safe Environment curriculum for children and youth in Religious Education and Catholic Schools.  All necessary materials for lesson leaders are available on the VIRTUS® website.

VIRTUS Lesson Leader Orientation module –  A 25-minute online training module that equips lesson leaders (catechists or parents) to successfully teach the Teaching Safety lessons. It provides specific material about foundational concepts, logistics, and how to navigate child disclosures and reporting.
