Archdiocese of Denver Statement on Illicit Groups
The Archdiocese of Denver has learned that Mr. Andre Mahanna, a former Maronite priest who was dismissed from the clerical state, may be presenting himself as a priest with other religious communities.
Mr. Mahanna has no authority to minister on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church or within the Archdiocese of Denver. Catholics should not attend liturgical services he advertises or provides, nor should they provide financial support to Mr. Mahanna or any associated organizations.
