Grant Request Application

Because of the generosity of those who give sacrificially to the Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal, the Archdiocese of Denver is pleased to offer grants to ministries and organizations that advance our mission: So that in Jesus Christ, all might be rescued and have abundant life for the glory of the Father. Each grant request will be considered based on its relevance to the mission and goals of the Archdiocese. Grant requests must be renewed annually and are due by June 30th.

While the mission of Jesus includes a wide breadth of efforts, the Archdiocese has identified a few strategic priority areas for these grants:

  1. Holy Priests: The ongoing growth in charity, healing, and spiritual health of our presbyterate
  2. Equipped Leaders for Mission: Initiatives which equip all leaders (bishops, priests, deacons, and laity) with skills to advance the mission. This is specifically in the realm of pastoral/apostolic formation.
  3. Evangelization – Specifically initial proclamation and sharing of the Gospel
  4. Corporal Works of Mercy
  5. Spiritual Works of Mercy

If a grant is awarded, an impact report must be submitted to review the effect of the initiative, event, or project. Impact reports should include the goals of the project, a description of the work performed toward those goals, and an assessment of the project’s effectiveness. As much as possible, data, statistics, and participant feedback should be included. Impact reports from the previous cycle must be submitted before new grant requests can be considered.
