In addition to being liaison to national service organizations of the Catholic Church such as the USCCB, CRS, and the Pontifical Mission Societies, the Office of Social Ministry collaborates with various ministries operating within the Archdiocese of Denver such as Rural Life Ministry, Catholic Deaf Community, Mental Health Ministry, and more. See Programs and Ministries for a more detailed description of these programs.

Catholic Jail Ministry

Missionary Cooperative Program
As all of us are committed to the Propagation of the Faith and the worldwide mission of Jesus, the Social Ministry office coordinates the Missionary Cooperative Program, which assigns a Catholic mission group to each of our parishes every year, enabling the faithful to hear of the works of the Church and promote a universal missionary spirit. UPDATE: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Archdiocese of Denver has cancelled the 2020 appeal year. If you would like to send a donation for any mission invited to participate in the 2020 MCP, please visit the page for the Missionary Cooperative Program 2020.
