The Office of Evangelization and Family Life Ministries supports the mission of the Archdiocese by providing pastoral equipping to ministry leaders within the Archdiocese of Denver. The “EFLM” office offers this equipping primarily through intentional accompanying or “coaching” our local leaders. The Office also provides equipping through workshops, conferences, and retreats.

The Office is broken into three distinct teams which provide direct support to ministry leaders depending on the area of parish ministry they oversee. Every team includes individuals from both the english speaking and hispanic community which allows the office to provide effective support to all leaders within the Archdiocese.

Occasionally the Office of Evangelization and Family Life Ministries will host retreats, workshops or conferences for the larger Catholic community. On this site you’ll find information about these broader offerings, a collection of resources we’ve curated, and the names of our team members. FOCCUS Facilitator Training

Sept. 28 | St. Thomas More | 9 AM – 3 PM

The cost of the class is $75. This includes a FOCCUS® Facilitator Manual and a REFOCCUS® Facilitator Manual for each Facilitator or Facilitating Couple. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please rsvp by September 20th.

DRE/Catechist Workshop

Sep 12 | 9 AM – 1 PM | Free, lunch included

Please invite your DRE and Catechist leaders to join us for an opportunity to connect with others in similar ministry roles. They’ll engage in discussions on guiding families in prayer with Scripture and explore new approaches to leading Sacramental Preparation retreats. Additionally, there will be resources to review and free curriculum materials, student books, and Bibles available to take home!

Evangelization Workshop for Marriage Prep Leaders

Oct 24 | 9 AM – 3 PM | Bonfils Hall

This is a MUST ATTEND event! Andrew McGown, Executive Director of the Office of Evangelization and Family Life Ministries will be presenting this workshop. You don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to learn the skills presented in this workshop. These workshops are designed to help equip both leader (parish staff and volunteers) and the Catholic faithful with the knowledge and skills necessary to evangelize within their sphere of influence.
