After a fun summer of community building, the reality of a new school year has set in.
As your teens go back to school, this can be both an exciting and challenging time for them. I encourage you to continue strengthening your relationships by checking in with them and planning to support them outside of the walls of your youth room. Take some time to learn about the various schools in your area, know their sports and extracurricular activities and support your teens! Take time to attend the football games, the cross-country meets and the school plays, etc…! Show them they have your support, the time you invest in your teens will be worth it!
